RarityDex Data Sources and Quality

How Japanese card records, images, rarity labels, and market-reference prices are imported and maintained.

Last updated: July 13, 2026

Primary card data

RarityDex imports Japanese card and set information through PokémonPriceTracker under an authorized API arrangement. Imported records are saved in the local RarityDex database so visitors do not consume API credits and pages load quickly.

What we display

No guessed rarity

If a trusted source does not provide rarity, RarityDex leaves it blank or pending. We prefer incomplete information over incorrect information.

Corrections and update timing

Data may change when a set is imported or updated. New releases can temporarily have missing images, prices, or details. Corrections can be requested through the contact page and are reviewed against the source data.

Ownership

Pokémon card names, images, characters, and related marks are owned by their respective rights holders. RarityDex organizes the information for identification and collector reference and does not claim ownership of third-party card artwork.
